You can file a bug report from the self-hosted web UI.
-
The web UI could not produce a bug report at all. It showed the whole
form — description, options, screenshot list — and then, where the button
should have been, a line of grey text saying a bug report needed the desktop
app. So you filled everything in and only then found out you could not send
it. One reporter put it plainly: "Could not capture a bug report on the
webui." The button is now there and it works: the engine builds the zip and
your browser downloads it. -
Screenshots can be attached in the browser too, using the normal file
picker. -
The bundle tells you what it is. A report built in a browser cannot
contain quite the same things as one built by the desktop app, so the README
inside the zip now says which parts differ and where to get the rest — for a
Docker setup, the engine's full log isdocker logson the container.
Nobody should have to guess whether a missing file is a clue.
