A console-freeze fix, and every language is now genuinely complete.
The app can no longer hang your console
When ps5upload reads certain console state, it briefly attaches to a
system process and waits for it to answer. That wait had no time limit.
If the console didn't answer — which can happen on some firmware — the
payload sat there holding that process open, and the console locked up
until you cut the power.
Every one of those waits now gives up after ten seconds and releases the
process cleanly. This is the fix for the freeze reported on 5.0; if you
were holding off on updating, this is the release to take.
The search box is on tablets too
5.1.0 said the "More" screen had a search box. On phones it did. On
tablets and desktop the old sidebar was still being shown, so it didn't.
Both now use the same screen, so search works everywhere.
Empty readings say why they're empty
The power telemetry panel showed four blanks whether your firmware
doesn't expose those sensors, or the reading genuinely failed. It now
tells you which, so you're not left guessing whether something is broken.
All 18 languages are actually finished
Every language reported "100% translated" — but the check only asked
whether a phrase was present, not whether it had been translated.
Roughly 300 phrases per language were sitting there as untouched
English. All of them are now translated, and the check was rebuilt so
this can't quietly happen again.
Also fixed: five English phrases that displayed literal nonsense like
"5 rule5" and "Save 3 edit3" instead of counting properly.
