USB install fixes — no more stuck "downloading" tile, and a copy that survives a flaky connection.
- Installing a big game from USB no longer leaves a broken "Downloading…"
tile. 3.3.4 tried to install straight off the USB drive, which made the PS5
register the game as a download it then streamed off USB at a crawl (a 25 GB
game showed "Downloading… 50 hours left" and left an undeletable tile eating
space). Installs now always copy to internal storage first and never trigger
that. (If you have a stuck Bloodborne/other tile from 3.3.4: delete it from
the PS5 to reclaim the space — your PKG on the USB drive is untouched.) - The USB→internal copy survives connection drops. A 25 GB copy used to die
the instant the PS5 connection blipped — even though the console was still
copying fine. The copy is now tracked by how much data has actually landed, so
a dropped connection (or Wi-Fi hiccup) no longer aborts a healthy copy, and a
live percentage shows throughout. (For very large games, uploading from a
PC is still the most reliable path — that transfer is fully resumable.)
