The big redesign. Same tool, sharper look, fewer steps, fewer surprises.
- A fresh look across the whole app. Deeper, richer dark theme with real
depth and a more vivid PlayStation blue; refreshed light and OLED themes;
smooth animations on dialogs, menus, and page changes (and the four
PlayStation shapes as the new loading mark). Every button and field now
shows a visible focus ring for keyboard users, and motion respects your
system's reduced-motion setting. - Keep your PS5 awake — your choice. Settings → Upload now has a
three-way "Keep the PS5 awake" option: Off, During transfers
(default, protects long uploads from rest mode), or Always while
connected — your PS5 never auto-enters rest mode while the app is open.
Putting the console to rest manually always still works. A small ⚡ in the
status bar shows when always-on is active. Verified on real consoles. - Games go straight to your home screen. Upload a game folder and it's
registered on the PS5 automatically when the transfer finishes (works from
the queue too) — no more hunting for "Register" in the Library. You can
turn this off per upload, and the menu is now called "Add to home
screen" so it says what it does. - No more dead ends. Every screen now tells you exactly what's wrong and
how to fix it — no console set up yet, console offline, helper not
running, or the engine not responding — with a button that takes you
there. New installs land directly on the Connection screen. - Errors can't slip past you anymore. When a delete, move, mount, rename
or download fails, the error now also lands in the notification inbox —
navigating away no longer makes it vanish. - Quality of life. Loading screens show smooth placeholders instead of
blank space; huge game libraries render instantly ("Show all" expands the
rest); scheduled power-ticks now always target the console you created
them for; Dashboard moved next to Connection where you'd look for it. - Fully translated. Every string in the app is now translated in all
18 languages — no English fallbacks left anywhere.
