- Running several PS5s hard at once won't crash a console. When work
overlapped on one console — reading its live temperature while a package was
installing, or registering a game on one PS5 while another was mid-install —
the helper's low-level kernel operations could collide and, in the worst
case, black-screen and restart the console. Those operations are now
serialized internally, so heavy concurrent use across consoles stays stable.
Verified on real hardware (PS5 and PS5 Pro) under a thousand-plus
concurrent operations. - One busy console no longer freezes the app for the others. A slow or
very large upload (especially from a network drive) used to be able to stall
the desktop engine for every connected console at once. Each console's
work is now handled independently, so a busy PS5 keeps to itself. - The Upload screen always shows the right console. Switching tabs mid-
upload now correctly shows each console's own progress, and the "stay awake"
and folder-comparison helpers follow the console you're actually uploading
to. Switching consoles also clears the previous console's game list
immediately, so an action can never land on the wrong PS5.
