- More reliable uploads by default. Sending several streams at once could
crash the PS5 helper mid-upload on some consoles, so uploads now use a single
stream by default. You can still turn streams up in Settings — with a heads-up
that it's less stable — but the single-stream path is the rock-solid one. - Uploads recover on their own. If a transfer drops mid-upload — most often
because the helper crashed — the app now re-sends the helper and picks up
exactly where it left off, retrying a few times before giving up. Real
problems like the PS5 running out of space still stop right away. On by
default. - Keeps your PS5 awake while uploading. Long uploads used to die when the
console slipped into rest mode. The app now keeps the PS5 awake for the
duration of a transfer. On by default. - Finds your PS5 across every network. "Find PS5s on the network" now scans
all of your computer's connections at once (Ethernet + Wi-Fi), so it locates
your console even when it's not on your computer's main network. - Reset everything. A new button under Settings → Data & reset wipes all
local app data — settings, saved consoles, history, and caches — and starts
fresh. Nothing on your PS5 is touched. - Cleaner, easier-to-read interface. Bigger text and logo, a tidier layout
that wastes less space, and friendlier "nothing here yet" screens. Settings is
reorganized into clear sections, and the upload-speed limit is now a proper
control there.
