mcli 20261025 — package version 20261025000000.0.0.
Source: dcc78d506f94 · Changes since 20261018.
Changes
- Build with Go 1.27.3 and silo-pkg v3.15.1, including dependency and certificate-trust fixes.
- Update minio-go to upstream commit ab93db7ba435 (
v7.4.2-0.20261020194015-ab93db7ba435). This fixes truncated multipart input, ReadAt/read-seek boundaries, and duplicate errors from single-delete fallback. It is a pinned commit after v7.4.1, not a formal v7.4.2 release; parallel SDK GET remains opt-in. - Honor persisted alias regions, with
MC_REGIONandAWS_REGIONtaking precedence. No newalias set --regionflag is introduced. - Return a nonzero exit status when
admin info --jsonfails while preserving its JSON error record. - Ship Windows amd64/arm64 archives as ZIP; Linux and macOS retain tar.gz. Update automation that assumes Windows tar.gz files.
- Refresh SILO help and disabled-command guidance. Correct the functional test's pre-read filesystem-attribute expectation on Linux.
Upgrade and verification
Existing configuration and MC_* variables remain supported. No coordinated Server or Console upgrade is required. Administration is release-tested against pgsty/silo; other S3 and upstream MinIO compatibility remains best effort.
All four required CI workflows passed on the tagged commit, including native Linux amd64, Windows amd64 and macOS arm64 tests, cross-compilation, vulnerability scanning and release packaging. Local acceptance additionally covers trusted TLS, object integrity, versioning, Object Lock, replication, IAM/STS, network failures, and package upgrades/rollbacks. Windows arm64 and macOS amd64 have cross-build coverage only.
Assets include six platform archives, six RPM/DEB/APK packages and SHA-256 checksums. RPMs carry the PGSTY GPG signature; archives, the archive checksum manifest, DEBs and APKs have GitHub build attestations.
Interrupted CLI multipart uploads can leave incomplete parts, as in 20261018; SIGINT returns 130 without exposing a completed object. Use mcli rm --incomplete --recursive --force ALIAS/BUCKET/PREFIX for scoped cleanup. A download interrupted mid-body returns failure and must be retried.
