不少朋友反馈「越升级越卡」。查下来不是界面变慢了：1.50 到 1.71 在同一台电视上编译好以后，各操作的帧时间几乎一样。问题在于大多数电视上的 Aerial 根本没被编译成机器码：用户贴的诊断里约七成是这样。原因是系统安装器不读 APK 里自带的编译描述，系统的后台编译又要等电视「空闲」才运行，电视开着时基本等不到；每次升级又会把编译结果清掉。
- 从控制中心升级时，安装包会带上编译描述（
.dm），系统在安装时就编译好 Aerial（Android 9 及以上）。小米 MFTR0 上未编译时主线程每帧慢一倍，按住方向键连续移动的帧时间从约 31 ms 降到 15 ms。 - Android 12 及以上，从控制中心升级不再弹出系统的确认框，点「下载并安装」后直接装好并回到主屏幕。小米电视没有这个确认页，以前只能退回到小米自己的安装界面，编译描述也跟着丢了。
- 从 1.71 升到 1.72 这一次还用不上：执行这次升级的是 1.71 的代码。装好 1.72 以后，下一次从控制中心升级起生效。想马上流畅，有 ADB 的话运行
adb shell cmd package compile -m speed -f app.orchard.tv；官网的一行安装命令和 Agent 安装本来就会编译。 - README 里手动安装的命令补上了编译这一步。
已在小米 MFTR0（Android 14，无确认框）和 TCL MT5879（Android 11，系统确认页，通过了 TCL 的验证器）上，用控制中心升级实测：两台装完都是已编译（speed-profile，install-dm），桌面守护、主页键正常。详细数据见 docs/PERF-2026-10-30.md。
Aerial Lite 没有变化，仍是 1.9。

Many of you said Aerial got slower with each update. The interface did not: compiled, 1.50 through 1.71 measure the same on the same TV. Most TVs run Aerial uncompiled (about 70% of the diagnostics you posted): system installers ignore the profile inside the APK, Android's background compile job waits for an idle device that a TV that is on never is, and every update throws the compiled code away.
- Updates from Control Center now carry dex metadata (
.dm), and the system compiles Aerial as it installs (Android 9 and later). On a Xiaomi MFTR0, uncompiled Aerial took twice the main-thread time per frame; holding an arrow key went from about 31 ms to 15 ms a frame. - On Android 12 and later, the update from Control Center installs without the system's confirmation page and comes back to Home. Xiaomi TVs have no such page, so updates fell back to Xiaomi's own installer and lost the metadata.
- Not on this update from 1.71: 1.71's code installs 1.72. It applies from the next update after 1.72. With ADB you can compile right away:
adb shell cmd package compile -m speed -f app.orchard.tv. The one-line install command and agent installs already compile. - The manual install commands in the README now include the compile step.
Tested by updating from Control Center on Xiaomi MFTR0 (Android 14, no confirmation page) and TCL MT5879 (Android 11, system confirmation, passed TCL's verifier): both compiled at install (speed-profile, install-dm); Home Guard and the Home key work. Details in docs/PERF-2026-10-30.md.
Aerial Lite is unchanged (1.9).
