📢 Deprecation arm
On the release notes of Jellyfin, arm based (arm32) seems to be deprecated and there will no newer major release (10.11) for it.
🚀 Improvements on Releases
As some of you mentioned, published release was not automatically available on the store whereas it was available here, requiring manual download. It was meant to avoid wide deployment of an unwidely tested version (even if it is working for me, it's better to have feedback in the github issues).
So now, (theorically)
- the "manually downloadable release as before" will be marked as 'pre-release' for a while and then will be marked as releases after some time if there is no major blocking issue on it.
- this 'pre-release' can be downloaded on the pre-release channel of the qnap app center, (allowing automatically update)
- pre-releases published on the store are the ones from 'current branch of jellyfin' considered as 'working for me'
- pre-releases from 'main branch (if some) will not be available on the store, only will be manually downloadable here
- pre-release will be marked as release after some delay and available on the qnap app center from the release channel. (no need to update if already installed)
