In testing. The connection options under Advanced (headers, client certificate, your own certificate authority) are new and have been tried on few setups. If something doesn’t work with yours, tell us: hello@742studio.eu.

What’s new

• Protected servers (in testing). Under Advanced, when you connect an Immich server, add headers, such as a Cloudflare Access token, or import a client certificate; it also works with your own certificate authority. It is in testing: tell us what doesn’t work with your setup.
• Errors that explain. When a proxy or a certificate stops the connection, the app says so, instead of “key rejected” or “server unreachable”. The support report names the kind of failure, never the address, the key or the headers.
• Support and diagnostics. In Settings, describe a problem, review the report of the last 24 hours and open an email to support with it attached. The history stays on the device, and nothing is sent until you have reviewed it.
• Forum from support. Share questions, ideas and bugs with the community from the support card, with a title, a category and up to four images. Review everything before posting, with or without an IMAGO account.
• Clearer Settings. Settings are now grouped into IMAGO account, Preferences, Libraries, Support and diagnostics, and About. Each category opens and closes from its header, and the connection test shows its result next to the server.
• Improvements and fixes. Before sending an edit from an external Immich library, the app tells you it may show up apart from the original. When an album or a search fails to load, it shows the error with “Try again” instead of the photos from the previous view.

Install

Requires Android 12 or later. Download IMAGO-0.23.0.apk and open it on your Android device. For updates, keep using the same distribution channel (Google Play or GitHub) as your existing installation.
