New
- Shift-click can now open links in Peek. Choose it in Settings > Links > Open Peek with.
Improved
- On Mac, Peek uses more of the page while still floating above it, with a round Close button and pill-shaped Open In, and its controls move with the card as it opens.
- On Mac, a new Quick Window opens at the size you last gave one, even after restarting Crest.
Fixed
- The command palette's results now take exactly the height of their rows, so a short list on iPhone no longer cuts off its first result or shows a scroll bar.
- Pinned extensions behind » in a Quick Window on Mac keep their right-click menu, and Command-L opens the palette in a blank Quick Window.
- On iPhone, the address bar's palette stays below the top of the screen at the largest text sizes.
- Saved passwords are no longer lost when Crest quits partway through importing or deleting them, or through turning iCloud Keychain on or off for a Space.
- Passwords imported earlier for a site at an IP address written in a long or unusual form, such as 127.1, now fill on that site too.
- On iPhone and iPad, the palette's search provider chips no longer cover what you type at larger text sizes.
- On Mac, a Quick Window goes on remembering the size you give it after its contents change.
- When a browser import during setup can’t save some passwords, its summary says how many. Importing a password file in Settings says whether the Space’s passwords or the file couldn’t be read, and no longer says your passwords were restored when nothing had changed.
- If Crest quits unexpectedly while reopening your pages on Mac, the next launch asks whether to reopen them. Don’t Reopen opens each window on the Start Page with your tabs still in the sidebar, so a page that makes Crest quit can’t keep you out.
Nightly builds contain the newest changes and may be less reliable than stable releases.
