New
- On Mac, clicking a Quick Window's address or pressing Command-L opens the command palette right there, starting at the address, with results from the Quick Window's Space. A blank Quick Window opens with it.
- On iPhone, tapping the address bar opens the command palette from the bar, with its results rising above it and the best match nearest the bar.
- Shift-click can now open links in Peek. Choose it in Settings > Links > Open Peek with.
Improved
- On Mac, the page behind Peek fades darker as Peek opens while the sidebar keeps its brightness. Settings > Links > Dim the page behind Peek turns it off.
- On Mac, Peek uses more of the page while still floating above it, with a round Close button and pill-shaped Open In, and its controls move with the card as it opens.
Fixed
- A site's permission request on Mac stays open when its page moves from a Quick Window into a browser window, and when the site asks before a Quick Window has finished opening.
- Site Controls and permission requests now stay readable over any page, Space color or surface material.
- A Quick Window opened beside Split View on Mac no longer opens narrower than its smallest size.
- A Quick Window on Mac no longer resizes narrower than its toolbar fits, which cut off Open In and slid Back and Forward under the window's buttons.
- The command palette's results now take exactly the height of their rows, so a short list on iPhone no longer cuts off its first result or shows a scroll bar.
- Pinned extensions behind » in a Quick Window on Mac keep their right-click menu, and Command-L opens the palette in a blank Quick Window.
- On iPhone, the address bar's palette stays below the top of the screen at the largest text sizes.
