Highlights
New
- On iPhone and iPad, a New Tab button floats at the bottom of the sidebar beside the sidebar button, so a new tab is always a tap away.
Improved
- Pages show their loading progress as a stronger fill in the address field, and the thin loading line along the top of the page on Mac is gone.
- Browser windows on Mac resize much smaller, so two fit side by side on a laptop screen, and the pinned tabs keep their place in a short window.
- On iPhone Duo held upright, the page and Space controls move into the bar across the top, leaving the sidebar more room, and the controls that don't fit fold into a menu, Settings first. Back and Forward always show on iPhone and iPad, dimmed until there is somewhere to go.
Fixed
- Switching between Sub-Spaces that show the same pinned tab keeps its page on screen instead of leaving it blank, and with extensions pinned, the pinned tabs stay still as you switch.
- Zooming a page out on iPhone and iPad fits it to the window instead of leaving a blank band down the side.
- On iPhone Duo held upright, the controls stay in the top bar while the keyboard is open.
