Highlights
New
- Sub-Spaces let several Spaces share one set of sign-ins, history, passwords and extensions while each keeps its own tabs and look. In Settings › Spaces a Sub-Space sits under its primary, and a group's page shows its Spaces' crests above the settings they share: + starts a Sub-Space, and on the Mac you can drag a Space into a group to add it or out of one to separate it. A Sub-Space you separate goes back to its own sign-ins and website data.
- The Spaces of a group show their primary's pinned tabs, and one pinned tab opens the same page in each. Turn on Separate Pinned Tabs for each to show its own.
- Deleting a Space that leads Sub-Spaces asks which of them keeps the group, with its sign-ins, history, passwords and pinned tabs, or deletes the whole group. Locking any Space of a group locks the group.
- Open Link in opens a link in a Quick Window in another Space's session, and Site Controls can open the current page in another Space, for the same site under another account. Keep moves it into that Space.
- Importing from Arc brings the Spaces of one Arc profile as one group, and importing from Zen brings a profile's workspaces as one. The review outlines each group and can bring a Space in on its own.
Improved
- Devices that run an earlier Crest keep syncing and show each Sub-Space on its own, signed out, until they update. The first group you make reminds you to update Crest on your other devices.
- The selected Space in the Space picker has a bolder outline, so it stays clear on a Space of the same colour.
Development builds contain the newest changes and may be less reliable than stable releases.
