Changes since last release
From CHANGELOG.md, 2026-11-03:
Computer Use in cloud Cowork and Dispatch
- Keyless registration is detected and fixable. Cloud Cowork and Dispatch reach this computer's Computer Use only when the desktop has a TPM-backed device key, which needs access to
/dev/tpmrm0. Settings -> Extra -> Community -> Computer Use status shows this desktop, the device key and the cloud state, and Enable TPM access (administrator prompt) grants the active seat user access through an opt-in udev rule; Disable TPM access removes it. NixOS:programs.claude-desktop-extra.tpmAccess.enable = true;.claude-desktop --diagnosereports the TPM, the rule and the last device connect. Restart Claude and start a new Cowork task afterwards. Details and security note: docs/computer-use.md. - Wayland sessions with a bundled bridge (KWin, GNOME, wlroots) now offer the computer tools to cloud Cowork and Dispatch too (
fix_computer_use_linuxsub-patch 4g). - The Cowork device popover tells a keyless desktop why Computer Use is missing. Instead of a green "Connected - Claude can use the files and apps on your computer.", this computer's popover shows a warning dot and points at Settings -> Extra -> Community -> Computer Use status (
fix_ion_dist_linuxsub-patch C). Keyed desktops see the upstream text.
Computer Use screen-sharing session diagnostics (#293)
- Computer Use on Wayland now logs every lock take and release with its holder, and why the screen-sharing session check did or did not start.
CDB_CU_DEBUG=1adds one[claude-cu] session check:line per check toclaude-patches.log.
