Changes since last release
From CHANGELOG.md, 2026-10-12:
Panel tabs (thanks @dels07, #274)
- Opening a panel switches to it. Pressing Anthropic's Diff / Browser / Terminal header button
while another panel was showing added the new panel as a tab but left the old one in front. Opening
a second panel rebuilds the whole side region, so the reconciler mistook the pass for its first one
and restored the remembered tab. It now goes by its own per-session record of the tabs it last
showed, so a panel it has never shown becomes the active tab. Switching sessions and re-enabling the
feature still restore the remembered tab. - The first panel opens at half the width. Opening a panel when none is open now splits the Code
tab 50/50 between the conversation and the panel, instead of upstream's own proportion or a split
left over from earlier. A split you drag to is kept for every further panel until all are closed.
Extra settings pages
- Filters get the caret. Themes, Community, Anthropic and Deployment open with the cursor in their
filter box, so you can start typing right away. - Every restart row has its own "Restart now". Hide window controls, Native titlebar, Transparent
window, Load large sessions in full and Allow non-Anthropic models now all show the button next to
their switch while a restart is owed. The two window modes used a bar at the top of the panel
instead, which was scrolled out of view by the time you flipped them; the other two rows had no
button at all.
Transparent window: the Code tab is see-through too
- The sidebar and the Code tab's File and Diff panels stayed nearly solid. The page wrapper and a
full-window wrapper around the app both took the transparency, and the sidebar and each panel added
one more layer on top, so they ended at about 99% opacity. The app frame is now the only see-through
layer, so the sidebar, the conversation and the panels all show the same transparency. - The File viewer's editor and line numbers and the Diff code view no longer paint their own dark
background. - The terminal stays solid: xterm draws it on a canvas that CSS cannot make see-through. Menus,
dialogs and Ctrl+P quick open stay solid on purpose.
