- Claude Desktop extension. Download
terravision-0.50.0.mcpbbelow and open it. Diagrams appear right in the chat, with buttons to open, edit in draw.io and see the source. - Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI plugins. One command installs the skill and the MCP server together.
- Design → Terraform → CI. Sketch an architecture in conversation, have the assistant write the Terraform for it, then add a CI workflow that keeps the diagram current as the code changes.
- Numbered flows and connection labels. Show how a request moves through the system, step by step, with a legend.
- Editable draw.io exports, now with the right icons for every AWS service and with the flow badges.
--titlesets the diagram's heading, on the command line and from assistants.- A new logo.
Fixes
- EKS diagrams draw correctly for Karpenter, Fargate, managed and self-managed node groups.
- Graphviz is found on Windows (installed by winget) and on macOS (Homebrew or MacPorts) when apps like Claude Desktop don't have it on their PATH.
Worth knowing
--annotatenow works with graph files (.tvg.json), for the title, flows and labels. Sections that would change the graph are an error: edit the graph instead.terravision visualiseno longer accepts graph files. Useterravision draw --format svg.tv_aws_azis the name for availability zones. The olderaws_azstill works.- A graph that mixes providers (
aws_*withazurerm_*orgoogle_*) is refused: draw one diagram per cloud.
