What's New
Upgrading from 1.2.0 requires one manual download per platform (this release fixes the update pipeline itself) — after that, in-app updates work normally on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
Added
- Roku Cloud Emulator (RCE) support — connect with a Personal Access Token to start/stop Roku's cloud-hosted virtual devices and use them just like a physical device: remote control, ECP, Console, sideload, screenshots, App Connector, and the debugger.
- Ports Window — a standalone per-device window with tabs for the 8080 SceneGraph console, 8087 screensaver console, and 8081 debug protocol (debugger, REPL, live wire trace), plus a Custom Port tab.
- Sideload Relay — per-device relay controls with a dev-password flow.
- Device Performance — a System/Graphics memory mode, bitmap inspection, chart history, and CSV/JSON/image export.
- Console Monitor — now tracks Roku launch/performance beacons alongside BrightScript errors.
- MCP — full-content search across captured network requests, new filters, and a "View MCP Tools" modal.
- A live Device Info panel with device photos in the device modal.
- An Open action on file-related toasts.
- A
Forget on quitoption for remote locations.
Changed
- Network Session Viewer now matches the live Network tab feature-for-feature.
- macOS builds are now signed and notarized — no more Gatekeeper workaround needed.
- General polish and optimizations: unified modal animations, refined workflows across Fiddle, Dev App, Remote, Log Viewer and Query, faster device auto-connect on startup, a redesigned About dialog, and consistent release artifact naming.
- Various dependency and documentation updates.
Fixed
- Auto-updater — clearer error messages and improved update reliability across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Network Inspector — improved body-content detection and search/find reliability.
- Debugger & Console — numerous stability fixes for attach/detach and output handling across local, lab-server, and Cloud Emulator devices.
- Sideload Relay & Auto Connect — fixed duplicate device tabs and reconnect edge cases.
- General stability and bug fixes across Remote Server, Fiddle, and Action Scripts.
Security
- Updated dependencies to address known security advisories.
