OTPClient 5.3.2 fixes a startup abort caused by an outdated settings schema and stops staged installs from generating system caches.
- No more abort on an outdated settings schema. If GLib found a compiled schema from an older release ahead of the current one, for example under
~/.local/share, OTPClient aborted at startup (#475). It now starts with default settings and logs a warning naming the missing keys and the directory holding the old schema. - Staged installs leave system caches alone. With
DESTDIRset, cmake --installno longer writes agschemas.compiledandicon-theme.cachecovering only OTPClient's files. Direct installs still refresh both, and-DPOST_INSTALL_CACHES=OFFturns the step off.
