5.2.2 is a packaging release. Flathub rejected the Flatpak's direct org.freedesktop.Notifications talk-name, so the search provider now sends its notifications through the notification portal when it runs inside the sandbox; native installs keep the direct call and are unchanged (flathub#85).
The portal has no expiry, and the transient display hint that keeps a notification carrying a code out of history only exists from version 2 of the interface. Older portals do not ignore a key they do not know, they reject the whole notification, so the hint is only sent after the portal has reported its version. For the backends that drop the hint anyway, xdg-desktop-portal-kde among them, a code notification is now withdrawn after five seconds, and every notification gets a fresh id so a withdrawal still pending for an earlier code cannot take a later one down with it.
The README was refreshed alongside: minimize-to-tray is documented as the runtime setting it is, the command-line section lists the full option surface, and the build-option table and hardening paragraph now cover SANITIZE, PIE and the RELRO/BIND_NOW link flags. The settings dialog no longer claims a keyword change needs a logout, and both translation templates were regenerated.
There is no on-disk format or settings change; existing databases and preferences are untouched.
Flatpak
- FIX: inside the Flatpak, the search provider's "code copied" and failure notifications go through
org.freedesktop.portal.Notificationinstead oforg.freedesktop.Notifications, so the sandbox no longer needs that permission. The code notification is marked transient only once the portal reports version 2 or later, and is withdrawn after five seconds regardless, so it does not linger in history on version 1 backends such as KDE's - PACKAGING: the Flathub manifest can drop

Packaging
Nothing changed in the build, its dependencies, or the on-disk format. The only packaging-visible change is that the Flatpak no longer needs the notification bus name.
