Gameplay
- New challenge: Active Passives
- Trainer Passives: All trainers and the final boss will have their passives active, boss or not
- All Passives: All Pokémon, including Wild Pokémon and player starters, will have their passives active for the whole run. This will disable achievements for other challenge modes just like Inverse and Flip Stat challenges do. (Flip stats and Inverse take priority)
- New achievement has been added for beating any of the Active Passive challenge mode
- Battle Bond's alternate effect that increases Attack, Special Attack and Speed by 1 stage is implemented and will occur if a Pokémon other than Greninja has Battle Bond. The effect will apply once per switch-in, unlike mainline.
- Aroma Lady, Bird Keeper, Bug Catcher, Camper, Collector, Dragon Tamer, Fairy Tale Girl, Interviewers, Mysterious Sisters, Ruin Maniac, Scuba Diver, Snow Ace Trainer, and Young Couple trainer types are added to the game.
- Teraform Zero and Embody Aspect, if given to a Pokemon that lacks a Terastallization-induced form change (such as from Fusions or a Passive), will trigger immediately upon entrance rather than doing nothing.
- Teraform Zero works more than once per battle
