OpenCMR2 1.1.5

Fixes the crash on super special stages, the stretched service-area car on wide screens, and several controller detection problems.

  • Fix the crash right after the start countdown on the two-car super special stages (Greece, Sweden, Kenya and United Kingdom) in the 64-bit builds. The fix is also in CMR2Decomp.
  • Keep the service-area car's proportions at any aspect ratio, including 21:9, as the stage camera already did. Thanks to @mpietrowiak for the report and the matching fix in #12.
  • Read controllers while the game window does not have the keyboard focus, as the original game did. Under gamescope (Steam Deck Game Mode) only the keyboard worked.
  • Detect controllers connected after the game started, such as a wheel that reconnects when it leaves its generic USB mode, on entering Options > Controllers.
  • Limit the game to the four controllers its configuration table holds; more than four overflowed it.
  • Write each detected controller's name, USB ID and type to opencmr2.log.

Tested locally on Linux i686 and x86-64, including runtime regressions for all four super specials, and with virtual controllers for an unfocused window, the four-controller limit and a wheel connected after startup. The CMR2Decomp change keeps its function byte-exact. Release packages are built and tested by GitHub Actions for each supported platform.

You need your own original PC Colin McRae Rally 2.0 game data. The downloads contain only the port, its dependencies and licences.
