This is the last prerelease that adds something before the final release of v2
The translations are slowly trickling in and most of them have been updated, so probably once I have enough time to write a proper documentation, and if there are no more nasty bugs, you may expect the official release to drop!
With that being said, this prerelease introduces another breaking change, which requires manual steps. In particular, we are ditching S3/R2/Minio in favour for local storage, the reasoning for which can be found in the linked PR, issue #162 and general lack of self hosting friendly solutions.
To migrate, you need to download your SplitPro bucket and place its contents (i.e. the user id labelled directories) in some local folder and then mount it inside of your compose file like in the updated example compose file. A migration script will take care of the rest and you can check that the migration was successful if your files were converted to webp and have thumbnails generated.
I know the guide is pretty short, but you can expect a full blown one along with the official release :*
