Listing pictures are kept and shown as a gallery
Fredy now keeps the pictures of your listings. They stay available after the portal has taken the ad down. Closes #490.
What's new
- Picture gallery on the listing page. It shows thumbnails, a counter and a full-screen viewer, and floor plans are labelled.
- Pictures outlive the ad. The first picture of every new listing is stored in Fredy's database, shrunk to a compact WebP of about 30 to 70 KB. All further pictures are stored as links in compressed form.
- No extra requests to the portals. Galleries are taken from responses Fredy already loads:
- ImmoScout24 and Kleinanzeigen, with provider details enabled
- Immowelt and SeLoger
- Deutsche Wohnen, immobilien.de and Engel & Völkers
- Existing listings are covered too. A listing's picture is saved the first time you view it. Use "fetch details" to add the gallery to an older listing.
- MCP:
get_photo_for_listingnow answers from the stored picture first, so it keeps working after an ad has been removed.
Under the hood
- Picture downloads only go to public addresses, and this is checked on every redirect. Only JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP are accepted.
- New dependency:
sharp, with prebuilt binaries for amd64 and arm64. - The database migration runs automatically on startup.
Thanks to @eneuberg for the idea and the webhook groundwork in #489.
