Fredy now searches France. Three of the country's biggest portals are in, and Fredy speaks French.
Three new providers
- leboncoin: France's biggest classifieds site. Paste a search URL from leboncoin.fr, and every filter you set there carries over.
- SeLoger: same platform as Immowelt, and it works the same way. Paste the URL of a result page.
- Bien'ici: no browser needed. Paste a search URL from bienici.com. Areas drawn on the map, circles and travel-time areas are not supported.
leboncoin and SeLoger sit behind the same bot protection as Immowelt. If you run into We have been detected as a bot, a French residential proxy helps.
French rents are quoted with or without charges. Fredy stores which one it is, so the same flat on two portals still counts as one.
Fredy speaks French
Switch languages under Settings → Preferences. The translation is AI-generated. If something reads odd, a PR against ui/src/locales/fr.json is very welcome. Scam detection reads French adverts too, including the prepaid vouchers French frauds ask for (Transcash, Neosurf, PCS).
Smaller improvements and fixes
- Immowelt listings no longer go offline by mistake. The activity check ran into Immowelt's bot wall and marked live listings as gone after about ten days. It now asks from inside the browser session, and price tracking does too. Affected listings can be brought back with Mark as available again.
- Scam warnings no longer fire on honest disclaimers such as "Keine Vorkasse" or "No Western Union", in any language.
- Duplicate detection is no longer fooled by the stock words in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French headlines, which made two different flats count as one.
- Search URLs copied from an alert email or an ad click (
gclid,fbclid,xtor, ...) no longer stop an Immowelt job. - The debug logging banner now points to Administration → Debug.
