Fredy 28 is here!! and it brings... scam detection :)
Rental fraud follows a script. The price sits far under what the street costs, the landlord cannot make a viewing because they are abroad, the keys are promised by post, and money is wanted before anyone has seen the flat. Fredy now reads every listing for those marks and warns you when enough of them line up.
Six signals, weighted. Asking for Western Union has no innocent reading, so it warns on its own. Being cheap has plenty, so it never warns alone. Finding cheap flats is the point of the tool.
A flagged listing gets a badge in the overview and in the table, and the listing page names every signal that fired, so you can check each one against the advert yourself. Nothing is filtered, hidden or deleted.
Your judgement wins. Mark a scam Fredy missed, or dismiss a warning you have looked into, and that decision survives every later run. Press the same button again to clear it.
It reads German, English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, which covers every portal Fredy ships with. It costs nothing: no API key, no request, no third party, and nothing leaves your machine.
Treat the warning as a reason to read more carefully, not as a verdict. It does not understand negation, and anyone who rewrites the usual wording is invisible to it. This catches copy-paste mass fraud, not a careful individual.
