Infrahub - v1.11.6 - 2026-10-13
Infrahub 1.11.6 brings the selective regeneration improvements from the 1.12 line to 1.11. After a merge or in a proposed change, regeneration now narrows to the affected members instead of regenerating every member of a definition, and artifacts and Generators regenerate again when a change touches a field their query filters on.
Changed
- Post-merge and proposed-change regeneration now regenerate only the affected members when a Generator or artifact query reads a
display_labelorhuman_friendly_idbuilt from a related node's attribute and that related node changes. A query that does not target unique objects, or whosedisplay_labelorhuman_friendly_idpath cannot be resolved, still regenerates every member of the definition. - Post-merge regeneration now narrows to the affected members when the changed data is read through a relationship (for example an owner's name rendered by an artifact, or an interface's field on a device), instead of regenerating every member of the definition. Changes that cannot be attributed to specific members unambiguously still regenerate the whole group.
Fixed
- Fixed artifacts and Generators not being regenerated after a merge or in a proposed change when the change was to a field their query filters on, such as moving an object to the related node the query selects by. (#11024)
- Fixed Generators not running in a proposed change or after a merge when the only change was to a Profile of a kind their query reads.
