First attempt at pulling together the pieces of OpenSim to create aan application distribution. This is far from working, and intended for internal testing only and to get feedback.
- Don't use for production or research critical functionality as of now.
- Only windows 64, 32 bit zip file is included initially (no installer) It should run from /bin/opensim64.exe (opensim.exe) of the download zip for 64 (32) bit. No need to set OPENSIM_HOME (maybe used to locate Geometry files if set). Need testing on machines without VS2015.
- Builds for different platforms/configurations to follow
- Both VTK and new visualizer (available under open visualizer) are available for now in limited fashion
- Visualizer opens in separate browser window for now.
- Mac osx zip file has been added as well (under OpenSim Release Betas on simtk.org since github had problems uploading it). You should download it, unzip then drag to whatever place you want then doubleclick to launch. One catch is that due to issue #1498 (related to OPENSIM_HOME used to locate Geometry files) you'll have to have a Geometry folder with needed files under the model .osim file
