Pi-Bolt Android 0.6.0

one hour ago

If you have 0.3.0 to 0.5.5, install 0.6.0 once from https://pi-bolt.opensec.in/android. Those versions could not install in-app updates ("App not installed"): the app declared its file provider twice, so Android's installer could not open the downloaded update. 0.6.0 has the same signature, so your projects, chats and settings stay. In-app updates work again from 0.6.0 on.

New

  • Spending: see what each session, reply, day and month cost. Optional limits per session, day and month are in Settings > Agent > Spending.
  • Hands-free voice mode in chats and project sessions: talk, and Pi answers aloud, then listens again. Hold the voice button to start it.
  • Background jobs: Pi can start dev servers and long commands in the background. The Background pill shows live output and has a Stop button.
  • Pi checks its own preview: Pi can load, read and screenshot the project's localhost preview.
  • Review the computer's changes from the phone over remote control (needs Pi-Bolt 1.1.5 on the computer).

Fixed

  • Opening or starting another session in the same project no longer stops the one that is running. Up to 3 sessions run at once.
  • The subagent screen no longer looks frozen. It shows what the agent is doing, then Finished or Failed. Live thinking and text over remote control need Pi-Bolt 1.1.5 on the computer.
  • Many fixes:
    • Chats: drafts, dictation, compaction, retry.
    • Workspace: editor drafts, renamed and symlinked files, history, clone.
    • Settings: custom endpoint keys, a deleted project's secrets, the default model.
    • Engine: background processes, the time zone, checkpoints.
    • Remote control: missed alerts, reconnecting.
  • Smoother keyboard, spinners, tables and session screen.

Pi-Bolt Android app 0.6.0: Pi-Bolt running on the phone, and remote control for Pi-Bolt (/remote-control).

pi-bolt-android-engine-sources.tar: the corresponding source of the GPL/LGPL parts of the on-device
engine (glibc with Termux's Android patches, bash, busybox, git) and the scripts that build it.
