github opendocument-app/OpenDocument.droid v4.20.0

latest releases: v4.23.0, build/v4.23.0, v4.22.1...
one month ago
  • Editing reaches PowerPoint files, spreadsheet cells and plain text files, has undo and
redo, and no longer loads the document again, so the page stays where it was.
  • The editing tools are one row of buttons. A tap does the one thing the tool is for,
and holding a tool opens the colours it applies.
  • Highlighting is free, in documents and in PDFs alike. Pro adds the rest: bold, italic,
colours and text size, starting and joining paragraphs, and a PDF's underline, strike
    out, squiggly underline and drawing.
  • A PDF's marking tool stays on when it is tapped with nothing selected, so marking one
passage after another takes a single drag each.
  • Selecting text in a PDF no longer hides the words it selects, and the selection can be
adjusted from both of its ends.
  • A PDF's underline and squiggle hang below the text rather than crossing it, and a mark
covers the whole of what was selected rather than breaking apart at every word.
  • A PDF page far wider than the screen can be zoomed out until it fits. It used to stop
part of the way and scroll sideways.
  • A spreadsheet cell takes one tap to edit.
  • Leaving the edit mode with unsaved changes asks whether to save or discard them.
  • Word files show a text's shading, and text that is both underlined and struck through
    shows both lines.
  • A spreadsheet too big to show in full says so, and names how many of its rows
and columns are on screen. It used to stop without a word.
  • How much of a sheet is shown follows the device's memory now, rather than one
number for every phone. A big sheet used to take the app past what the phone
could hold and fail to open at all.
