[1.22.1] - 2026-09-04
- OpenCode Go: every request OpenChamber sends to OpenCode Go on its own, such as commit messages and pull request text, reply recaps and suggested follow-ups, walkthroughs, Goal Mode checks, notes, and usage, now carries the
x-opencode-sessionheader that OpenCode Go requires from 6 September. Chat traffic already had it, because it goes through OpenCode. Update before that date if you use OpenCode Go. - Message queue: messages queued while a session is busy are now sent by the OpenChamber server, so they go out even if the tab that queued them is closed, and every client shows the same queue. A queued message keeps its attached context, file mentions, and skill; editing it brings them back to the composer.
- Git: switching branches with uncommitted changes now stops at a commit-or-revert dialog with an optional push; a failed push cancels the switch. The branch picker lists recent branches with an unpushed-commit badge, the mobile Changes view gets a branch picker, and a draft over a dirty directory shows a warning on its branch selector (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
- Worktrees: removing a worktree no longer freezes the interface. It runs in the background with a progress toast, and its sessions are archived in one request, which takes a 121-session worktree from about fifteen seconds to one; archiving several selected sessions from the sidebar uses the same request (thanks to @yulia-ivashko). A worktree created from a branch behind its upstream now fetches first and branches from the remote (thanks to @jtatum).
- MCP: an MCP server that failed to start or lost its connection is now reconnected automatically, with a delay growing up to thirty seconds. Disabled servers and ones waiting for a login are left alone. Applies where OpenChamber launches OpenCode itself: Web and Desktop.
- Thinking effort: picking Default now sticks after a send and across agent or session switches, and a reopened session restores the effort its last message used (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
- Chat: a new session opens on the Chat or Project side you last used, and plus inside a chat opens a chat draft (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
- Chat: starting an isolated-worktree session from an assistant answer now picks the right project when the visible session already lives in a worktree (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
- Chat: resizing the window no longer snaps an idle reader back to the end of the conversation.
- Sessions: starting a rename selects the whole title (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
- Worktrees: the New Worktree dialog keeps its form when the worktree list changes while open, and a removed worktree leaves the sidebar under every project it was listed in (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
- Git: status stays hidden while a new worktree runs its setup commands instead of flashing mid-setup changes, and refreshes after a tool finishes a change or a worktree changes (thanks to @yulia-ivashko).
- Settings: the theme no longer flips when switching sessions across directories, and missing theme fields keep the current preference (thanks to @kydorn).
- Settings: new installs default to the OpenChamber light and dark themes; an existing Flexoki choice is kept.
- Settings: Fixel Text is available as an interface font.
- Usage: exe.dev usage windows are tracked.
- Settings: the Claude Code and Cursor plugin install cards are gone from Settings → Integrations, which now holds only GitHub and Linear.
- Desktop: the instance switcher keeps its statuses between opens, never shows the connected instance as checking, retries a relay instance for up to fifteen seconds before calling it unreachable, and shows the full instance name. Switching instances clears the previous instance's Linear and GitHub logins, quotas, MCP status, skills, and memory.
- Desktop: dev server previews work over the private relay.
- Terminal: the terminal waits for its font before measuring glyphs, so it no longer renders wrong until resized, and connects on servers running under Bun.
- Server: a browser on https behind an HTTP proxy hop is no longer rejected as a mismatched origin.
- Sidebar: the project label no longer shifts when its hover actions appear.
- Turkish interface: the missing Git repository discovery labels are back (thanks to @kydorn).
