What's in this RC

rc.1 keeps the rc.0 rebuild of Gallery as a separate layer on top of Immich, and adds the features and fixes that landed since: an Adjust tool in the image editor, face review with the photo's context and keyboard shortcuts, Space editors working with other members' photos in space albums, and a batch of mobile, Spaces and reliability fixes.

What to test (new since rc.0)

Image editor: Adjust tool (#1124)

Open a photo → Editor → Edit. Move Exposure, Contrast and Saturation, toggle Invert. The preview should match the saved result exactly.
Save, reload, and check the thumbnail, the full-size view and a download all show the adjustment.
Combine with crop/rotate/mirror, then Reset changes. Double-click a slider to reset only that one.
On mobile: an adjusted photo should display adjusted, and cropping/rotating it there should keep the adjustment.

Face review (#1079)

Open a named person with a "Faces found that could be …" banner → Review.
Check the date and Open photo (new tab, place kept), and expand Details (capture time, file, place, camera, albums, other people). Details should stay open/closed across faces and sessions.
Keyboard: S same, D different, I ignore, ←/→ move without deciding, M details, O open, ? shortcut list (verdict keys must not fire while it's open).
Repeat inside a Shared Space, including as a viewer (Open photo should go through the space).

Spaces

As a Space editor: add another member's photos to a space-linked album, set one as the album cover, and find another member's space-linked album in Add to album by searching (#1167, #1204, #1208).
Add to album from a Space should offer the same choices as from the timeline (#1212).
Space album table sorts by clicking its column headers (#1213). Album lists for Spaces/Albums should load fast, with a scrollbar on Space tabs (#1165).
Large Spaces: header, members and sidebar should load noticeably faster (#1166, #1211).
An editor unassigning a face should drop its identity link (#1172).

Mobile

Rotate the device on the timeline: scroll position should be kept (#1090).
Android: Open in map should open external map apps (#1135).
The server update notice should open Gallery's releases, not Immich's (#1201).

Server & web fixes worth a quick check

Trash the cover of a stack: the stack stays, the next photo becomes cover (#1207).
Play a video right after upload: it should switch to the encoded file once transcoding finishes, not freeze or stay audio-only (#1200).
Files with no time zone in metadata should land on the right day, using the server TZ (#1148).
S3 users on Garage or similar: multipart uploads should read back (#1210).
Naming a person suggests and merges existing people (#1136). Map links are hidden when the map is disabled (#1137). System settings search finds settings inside sections (#1206). Ctrl+K hint off Apple platforms (#1175).

Set IMMICH_VERSION=v5.9.0-rc.1 in your .env, then:
