- Improve BOM, UTF-16, and legacy Windows ANSI handling. Back up original bytes before encoding conversion, restore exact bytes during rollback, preserve editor offsets, and reject invalid content before writing. (#302)
- Restore Alt-drag column selection and correct comment toggling across multiple selections. (#1061)
- Strengthen backup validation, preserve imported metadata, and allow retries after import failures or preview refreshes.
