Gnosis 0.35.0 adds continuous explanations, control over explanation scope, and a workspace for review feedback.
Read and customize explanations
- Read each explanation as one document, with relevant code beside each section.
- Use the persistent toolbar to move between sections, adjust diffs, and ask questions.
- Choose Concise, In Depth, Educational, or Custom before generation starts.
- Exclude generated files, tests, extensions, folders, or individual files. Individual file choices override filters.
- Save repository defaults. When you regenerate an explanation, Gnosis restores its previous choices.
- See generation stages and completed-topic counts. Saved explanations remain available during generation.
Address review feedback
- Read code threads, review summaries, and PR comments in the Feedback tab.
- Move between open threads, inspect the code, reply, and resolve threads inside Gnosis.
- Filter for feedback that needs your response and hide noisy GitHub Actions comments.
Review with less friction
- Use clearer headings and consistent icons across the workspace, Markdown, and commit messages.
- Expand or collapse the sidebar and its sections.
- Explore generated SVG diagrams and explanations based on source evidence.
- Load an explicit PR explanation without adding the PR to the review queue.
- Reduce automatic GitHub requests and reuse more cached data during preloads.
Existing saved explanations work without regeneration.
