Gnosis 0.30.0

Gnosis 0.30.0 brings a new review workspace, faster navigation, and guided setup.

Review PRs and stacks

  • Treat stacks as a hierarchy: review the whole stack or focus on one PR, with separate explanations for each scope.
  • Inspect Summary, Changes, Commits, Checks, and Explanation tabs. Review code and GitHub comments without generating an AI explanation.
  • Scroll through all file diffs, track Viewed progress, and see failing checks and merge readiness.
  • Submit reviews, merge PRs and stacks, manage auto-merge, update branches, and change draft status.

Find the work that matters

  • Save views with filters for repositories, authors, labels, read status, target-branch patterns, and recent activity.
  • Star or mute PRs, sort the queue, and use global Cmd/Ctrl+K search and navigation.
  • Use breadcrumbs, recently viewed items, and mouse Back/Forward navigation.
  • Configure your queue through guided setup. Resume setup or replay the spotlight walkthrough from Help, Settings, or Cmd/Ctrl+K.

Understand changes

  • Use Claude or Codex for briefings, explanations, and chat.
  • Follow D2 diagrams with stable step layouts and interactive explanations.
  • Chat in a consistent side panel with streaming, Stop/retry, and preserved drafts. Press C to open chat and Escape to close it.
  • Write review comments with Markdown formatting and preview.
  • Review rendered Markdown changes, preview images and SVGs, and download Git LFS resources on demand.
  • Hide generated files, tests, or selected extensions when inspecting diffs.

Faster local work

  • SQLite-backed caches and background preparation reduce repeated downloads and keep navigation responsive.
  • GitHub requests prioritize the work you are waiting for and respect rate-limit backoff.
  • Set the GitHub cache size and configure encrypted environment-variable overrides for Claude and Codex.

New installations use manual AI generation by default. Automatic briefings are optional and have a daily limit. Existing automation preferences are preserved until you change them.
