• Cost examples in commands and skills now use USD instead of escaped dollar
  signs. Claude Code no longer treats them as argument placeholders, and Codex,
  Cursor and Factory display the prices without a backslash.
• /octo:embrace now uses the newest probe synthesis, grasp consensus, tangle
  validation and delivery document from the session. Its artifact lookup read
  only the first glob match, the alphabetically first, and artifact names carry
  an epoch timestamp, so a session holding more than one used the oldest. The
  lookup and the debate gate also split an unquoted path, so a results
  directory containing a space found nothing and the gate stopped with
  "context artifact missing".
• Research verification skips workspace citations to files larger than
  OCTOPUS_RESEARCH_MAX_RESPONSE_BYTES, the cap already applied to fetched
  sources. It also normalizes each cited file once per verification, so
  repeated quotes do not trigger repeated disk writes. A 16 MiB cache budget
  bounds total temporary storage and failed normalization removes its files.
