Added
- Research runs now preserve a local manifest, source ledger, and verification report, so interrupted discovery can resume without repeating completed provider work. Synthesis checks source IDs, quoted text, numeric claims, and independence-aware corroboration before treating evidence as verified.
- Tangle adequacy and reconsideration, plus design-review seats and synthesis, now use versioned JSON contracts. Automated planning and review exchange validated, machine-readable decisions instead of relying on free text between models.
Fixed
- Background provider sessions suppress nested automatic routing, avoiding recursive Octopus launches when research invokes Claude Code or Codex.
- Concurrent lifecycle writers retry when a valid lock disappears between acquisition attempts instead of reporting a false installation failure.
- Quick research no longer fails when a blind-spot checklist is available, and evidence-processing failures stop background synthesis cleanly.
- Snapshot verification recognizes cited numbers and rendered quoted text, including HTML ampersands, and prevents an unverified synthesis from being presented as complete.
- Durable discovery carries its unique run ID through every provider child and verified synthesis path, so concurrent runs cannot overwrite one another.
- Standalone recovery of legacy probe results remains best effort instead of creating a new fail-closed evidence run after the original process exits.
- Research verification handles GNU and BSD file-mode probes and portable POSIX quote matching consistently across Linux and macOS.
- Invalid research-intensity values fail during option parsing, and disabling durable evidence no longer initializes a durable run.
