v1.4.0 - built-in updater + OpenGL
New: built-in updater
FeedKit now checks GitHub for a newer release when it starts. When one exists, an "Update to vX.Y.Z" button appears next to the version label - one click downloads the new build, verifies its SHA-256 against the hash published in the release notes, swaps it in place of the running exe (via a safe rename), and offers to restart immediately.
New: OpenGL support
New "OpenGL game" checkbox - ReShade installs as opengl32.dll and the full DLSS5-Feeder stack follows (the Feeder handles GL-to-D3D12 interop internally). 64-bit and 32-bit OpenGL games supported.
Fixed
- D3D9 installs on Source engine games (Portal 2, Codename CURE, etc.): the installer now populates both the game folder and
bin\(hardlinks, no extra disk space), since Source engines resolved3d9.dllfrombin\while ReShade'sdxgi.dllloads from the game folder. Previously one of the two was always missing. - Downloads that fail with HTTP 403/404 now offer to continue with the previously downloaded cached copy instead of aborting, and a failed download can no longer destroy a cached file.
- DLSS5-Feeder moved its release assets into a single zip - FeedKit handles the new packaging (and the old loose-file layout as fallback).
Reminder
Single-player only (ReShade add-ons can trip anti-cheat). First install downloads ~230 MB from upstream.
