Major new release with new features!
- New Audio/Video delay dynamic estimation to get better synchronisation especially for bluetooth headsets
- Add new universal passthrough mode with AC3 5.1 recoding of non AC3 streams. The primary goal is to help AndroidTV TVs that are using a sound bar via ARC (not eARC) which payload cannot support multichannel PCM output
- New seamless audio speed (not based on seek anymore) mode enabling various playback speed from 0.05x to 2.00x. Though accessible through menu/tile while playing, various shortcuts are enabled described in FAQ. Control is also mapped to next/prev track available on some remotes (e.g. Ugoos UR02 BT remote).
- UPnP uses jupnp instead of deprecated cling
- Fix NFO and srt generated with size 0 using smbj SMB implementation
- ffmpeg 8.0 upstep
- Fix various java leaks (potentially addressing the blue screen of death requiring reboots)
- New media database, network shortcuts and credentials export/import creating/using
/sdcard/Android/data/org.courville.nova/files/backup.zip - Implement downmix fallback when ffmpeg is enable to detect audio channel mapping (seems to happen somehow), thx @leeroy
Note the apk is heavier because ac3recode requires new ffmpeg libraries.
TO TEST: please enable in option "Android frame timing" for testing, it should improve video fluidity.
