A fix release for first run and App Lock.
What was broken
A new install couldn't reach the relay until you left the app once. Right after onboarding, Show my code fell back to an offline code and Create an invite said it couldn't reach the relay, even though Test Connection said the relay was reachable. The app only registered with the relay the next time it came back to the foreground, so leaving the app and returning made it work. Pair Now inside onboarding had the same problem.
With App Lock on, the system pickers lost their results. Opening a picker moved the app to the background, which engaged the lock and closed the screen that was waiting for the result. Saving a backup through the system dialog created an empty file, picked attachments disappeared, and Save to device in Files did nothing. Scanning a QR code to pair was affected the same way.
What's fixed
The relay works from the first launch. The app now registers as soon as your identity is created, so invites, your pairing code and Pair Now in onboarding work straight away.
Pickers and the QR scanner work with App Lock on. The lock now waits while a picker or the scanner is open and engages normally once you leave the app. If a picker stays open for more than two minutes, the app locks when it closes and the result is discarded.
The app description is accurate about expiry. The per-conversation disappearing timer from 2.0.0 was dropped by mistake in 3.0.0, but the description kept promising it. It now says what this build does: every message expires and is deleted after 30 days.
About this build
The attached APK is the FOSS build. It carries the SMS transport and contains no Google or Firebase code, so it is the build for F-Droid and direct install.
