- Logic for loading updates to nRF Connect for Desktop to a new version. The
mechanism is now based on CDN and not GitHub. In most cases, it uses
files.nordicsemi.com. If users choose to use the Chinese server, it uses
files.nordicsemi.cn. - SEGGER J-Link: The tool now checks on every startup if a supported version of
SEGGER J-Link is installed. The check takes place on all platforms. If a
supported version is not installed, the tool offers to install it. Previously,
SEGGER J-Link version would be checked and installed only on Windows during
the tool installation.
