• Toolchain and dependency update for v0.8.6, built with Go 1.27.3. No software upgrade or governance proposal needed; validators can replace the binary at any time.
• Not state-machine breaking: a mixed v0.8.6 / v0.8.6-patch validator set produces identical app hashes.
• Download only from this GitHub release and verify the checksum (sha256 bef9ee2a82f94827c380aac66d5443bb92e55a0ff653f07ff0579f034959d082).
• Also recommended: keep the OS ca-certificates package and Cosmovisor up to date on node hosts.
