Microsoft Family Safety is now in the default catalog (hacs/default#13337).
Install from the catalog
- Search and install it directly: no custom repository to add any more. Go to Settings > Marketplace > Browse, search for Microsoft Family Safety and install it. Before Home Assistant 2026.11 the Marketplace is a separate install called HACS.
- The README, the install guide and the dashboard examples now describe the Marketplace, and the badge says Default.
Fixed
- Locking or unlocking a platform no longer reports a false error. Microsoft's mobile API can answer HTTP 500 ("An upstream aggregator error occured") and still apply the lock. Home Assistant showed that raw error and the switch kept its old state until the next update. The state is now read back right away: no error when the lock or unlock went through, a readable message when it has not changed yet.
