You don't need to install a wifi version Npcap to capture raw 802.11 traffic now! This function has been integrated into the existing driver.
When your adapter enters the monitor mode (like checking Capture packets in monitor mode in Edit Interface Settings window of Wireshark, or using Npcap shipped WlanHelper.exe tool), Npcap will automatically supply the raw 802.11 traffic including management, control and data packets in all following pcap_t sessions.
