Record view in sofka now shows logs in the order the application wrote them, with styled parts and flattened nested objects. This release also adds the default-container annotation for logs and humanizes byte counts in events.

New features

• Record view keeps the field order of the application. A › separates the message from the fields, and keys with whitespace, =, or " are quoted.
• Record view shows the logger name before the message as logger: message. This makes it easy to see which component wrote a line.
• Record view styles each part of a row, such as the time, level, logger, message, key, and value. Only WARN and ERROR rows keep a tint, so DEBUG rows are easier to read.
• Record view flattens nested objects into dotted keys, for example object.kind=Lease. Rows are shorter and easier to read.
• The new [logs] options record_time_format and record_time_zone set the time format of record view. record_time_format takes a strftime format. record_time_zone takes utc or local.
• The default-container annotation (kubectl.kubernetes.io/default-container) now works for logs, attach, transfer, and the container picker. The l key streams only the default container. The a key in the logs view switches between the default container and all containers. The container picker lists the default container first.
• The events MESSAGE column shows byte counts in binary units. For example, 80474558 bytes becomes 76.7 MiB. The describe and YAML views keep the original text.

Fixes

• Search highlighting no longer panics on text where lowercase changes the length of a character. Raw lines now highlight such text correctly.

Other changes

• The nkl-sofka cache is now built for every push to main, for Linux and macOS. Flakes that track main no longer compile sofka.
