These apps are clients only. A running Glass Keep server is required.
The Windows, Android and macOS downloads connect to your server URL. They do not install or run the server. Deploy Glass Keep separately using the Docker/server setup instructions, or connect to an existing instance.
Android note navigation fix — client 1.0.4
- Opened notes stay below the Android status bar and above the navigation bar.
- Android Back returns to the notes list instead of exiting while a note is open.

- Replaces the Tauri launcher icon with the Glass Keep standard, round and adaptive artwork.

Changes
- Cloud backup and other feature dialogs now match the neutral charcoal Settings background in dark mode, with consistent light-theme surfaces too.
- The cloud connection message explains the one-time server-owner setup. Once Google Drive/OneDrive is configured, ordinary users connect their own accounts without Glass Keep administrator access.
- Windows/macOS clients 1.0.2 and Android client 1.0.4 are attached directly to this release, including the same appearance fixes and the Settings-based server connection controls.

Windows portable executables are also included and require WebView2 already installed. Windows installers have no commercial publisher certificate. Android uses the existing persistent signing key, allowing installation over earlier signed Glass Keep builds. For Mac, open the DMG and drag Glass Keep into Applications. Mac previews use an ad-hoc local signature and are not Apple-notarized; first launch may require Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Apple instructions.
Docker and cloud setup
Docker: nikunjsingh/glass-keep:1.0.8 or nikunjsingh/glass-keep:latest, AMD64 and ARM64. Pull and recreate your container in Portainer while retaining the data volume and environment settings.
Cloud backups require a one-time OAuth app registration for each provider on the server. This release does not bundle shared cloud credentials or enable an unconfigured provider automatically. Cloud setup guide.
Validation
Automated server and browser regressions, light/dark dialog colour checks, Docker runtime checks on both architectures, Windows native transport tests, Mac signature/DMG/startup checks, and Android APK signature verification. Physical Android checks use a temporary account and local test server; interactive Mac testing and live Google/Microsoft authorization remain separate.
