github nicoverbruggen/phpmon v25.09

PHP Monitor 25.09 is now built with the latest macOS SDK and comes with improvements to the automatic update check mechanism, which will now check for updates if you don't restart the app (every 24 hours). This will make adoption of the upcoming releases of PHP Monitor easier, since PHP 8.5 is coming this November!

How to install or upgrade

If you have an existing PHP Monitor.app in your Applications folder you can use the built-in updater.

If you haven't installed PHP Monitor yet, you can click here to download the app. Place the app in your Applications folder and you may want to consult the README file for some more information.

Important

macOS 13.5 is the minimum required version of macOS in order to run PHP Monitor.
You can keep using an older version of PHP Monitor if you cannot upgrade your Mac.

What's New

  • The app has been updated for the new design in macOS Tahoe and is built using the new SDK. Some issues with buttons on Tahoe have been addressed.
  • Every 24 hours after launch, the app will look for an updated version if it hasn't been terminated yet. This is for all you people who never turn off the app or your computer (sleep mode on MacBooks is so convenient, is it not?).
  • If a background update check that occurs via the background fails, the app will periodically try again incrementally.
  • The app now contacts the api.phpmon.app domain in order to check for updates and uses information about the current app version and operating system version for more accurate update checks. If your operating system is no longer supported, this endpoint will report the last compatible version (in the future).
