What's New in 1.1.2
- Folder backup — OpenEmu can now back up your save states and battery saves to a folder of your choice: iCloud Drive, Dropbox, an external drive, or any local path. Set a destination in Preferences → Library. If OpenEmu finds a newer save in the backup folder at game launch, it offers to restore before you start playing.
- RetroAchievements hardcore mode — A new toggle in Preferences → RetroAchievements enables hardcore mode, which disables save state loading, rewind, fast-forward, and cheats to meet RetroAchievements' official compliance requirements. This is part of an ongoing partnership with the RetroAchievements team to get OpenEmu-Silicon on their official approved-emulator list — a prerequisite for RA users to earn points while playing. Special thanks to @wescopeland from the RetroAchievements team, who reviewed the hardcore compliance implementation. Approval is in progress.
- RetroAchievements system indicators — The Cores preferences pane now shows a 🏆 badge next to cores that support RetroAchievements, so you can see coverage at a glance.
