@ngx-translate/core@18.1.0-rc.3 and @ngx-translate/http-loader@18.1.0-rc.3 are available on npm. This is a prerelease for testing.

Changes since rc.2

• Ordered fallback languages: configure fallbackLangs, update the chain with setFallbackLangs(), and read it through getFallbackLangs() or the fallbackLangs signal. fallbackLangs takes precedence over the singular fallbackLang option, including when the array is empty. (#1685)
• Configurable retry policies: retry accepts a TranslateRetryConfig with a retry count, a fixed or calculated delay, and a shouldRetry predicate. Policy class methods retain their instance context. Numeric retry settings remain supported; HTTP failures require failOnError: true on the loader. (#1684)
• HTTP loader error reporting: onLoadError receives the language, resource, request URL (when available), and original error for each failed resource attempt. It works with both failure modes; failOnError still controls whether the error propagates. (#1679)
• Optional resource flattening: flatten: true converts nested translation objects to dotted keys before merging, so later resources override equivalent nested or flat keys. Arrays and null values stay intact, and empty HTTP responses are handled. (#1678)
• Keep deleted languages deleted: stale in-flight loads no longer restore translations after deleteLanguage(). (#1683)
