- Security release: aMule 3.2.0 fixes 15 vulnerabilities, all of them present in 3.1.0. Some upstream defaults changed for safety, read the "Upgrading to 3.2.0" section of the README and the upstream release notes
- Update aMule to 3.2.0 stable release
- Create
allowed-remote-dirs.datin the configuration volume with/downloadsand the incoming and temp directories ofamule.conf. aMule 3.2.0 refuses download and shared folders set from the Web UI, amulegui or the API outside the roots listed there, and leaves it empty by default. Add your other mounted folders to that file to manage them from the Web UI. An existing file is not changed - amuleapi now logs in to aMule with the External Connections password digest from
amule.conf(PasswordMD5inamuleapi.conf), kept in sync on every start. The plain text password is removed fromamuleapi.conf, andGUI_PWDis no longer required to upgrade a configuration created by an older image - Set the Web UI passwords through stdin, so they don't show up in the process list
- Stop sharing Office documents on configurations that kept the 3.1.0 default
ExcludeSharePatterns, as aMule 3.2.0 does on new ones. A custom list is not changed - Add
WEBUI_BASE_PATHenvironment variable to serve the Web UI and REST API under a sub-path behind a reverse proxy. Not set by default - Remove the
Ed2kServersUrl,DateTimeFormat,ShowAllNotCatsandSplitterbarPositionkeys from the defaultamule.conftemplate. aMule 3.2.0 removes them and moves the server list address toaddresses.dat. Only affects new configurations - Migrate the old default nickname
http://www.aMule.orgto the current aMule defaulthttps://amule-org.github.ioon existing configurations. Custom nicknames are not changed
